NYF&C Announces Support for Backyard Humanitarian

8th Annual Coat Drive

Updated Tuesday October 24, 2017 by Wally Haddick.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community and living our mission of Safety, Fun, and Character, the NYF&C is proud to announce our partnership with Backyard Humanitarian 8th Annual Coat Drive.

“Be Cool and Keep Someone Warm" Coat Drive as a way to serve the community for those in need.

The drive is looking to collect warm, clean new or gently used coats from the community to be given directly to those in need in the surrounding community.  Our NYF&C goal is 100 coats!

Backyard Humanitarians will coordinate with NYF&C to collect as many coats as possible.

Coats will be collected then sorted to fulfill requests from local shelters, senior centers, veteran hospitals, soup kitchens or anyone else in need within the communities surrounding Newtown.

Coats will be collected:

Saturday, October 28 at Treadwell Park Pavilion between 9am - 12pm

Sunday, October 29 at Treadwell Park - NYF&C apparel tent - between 9am - 3pm

Thank you for all of your generosity and in supporting our extended family and community.
